With the uptick in Omicron variant cases, Democratic-led states have re-implemented mask mandates on college campuses.

As Democratic officials often like to say, it’s imperative to “follow the science.” We don’t disagree in the slightest that science is important, but contrary to their argument, official statistics suggest that although there is an uptick in cases spurred by the Delta and Omicron variants, COVID deaths have plummeted substantially.

We believe that this is another excuse for Democrats to exercise control over our lives.
